Patients — researching a clinic
Fastest route: WhatsApp on +355 68 409 9986. The editorial team replies, usually within two hours during European daytime, within twelve hours otherwise. Ask anything — "Is Clinic X safe?" "Is this price realistic?" "How many days do I need?" Nothing is too basic and no message is too long.
If you want a written quote to compare treatment in Albania against what a Turkish or UK clinic has proposed to you, use albaniaclinic.com/book-now. You get 2–3 written quotes from verified Tirana clinics within 24 hours. No commitment. No clinic calls you. You pay nothing to us.
If you prefer to email: info@clinictruth.com.
Tipsters — reporting a clinic problem
Email info@clinictruth.com with subject line starting TIP:. Include:
- Clinic name and country
- What happened, in your words
- Approximate dates
- Any documents you can share (bills, medical records, emails, photos) — redacted if you prefer
- Whether you'd be willing to be interviewed confidentially
We don't publish your name without permission. We don't publish a story based on a single tip — we need at least two independently-sourced accounts of the same issue before investigating.
For highly sensitive cases: we can use Signal on +355 68 409 9986 for end-to-end encrypted messaging. Mention "Signal please" in your first email and we'll walk you through.
Press and media
Journalists and producers: email info@clinictruth.com with subject line starting PRESS:. Include outlet, deadline, and the specific question you want addressed. Clinic Truth is available for interviews in English, Italian, Spanish, Albanian, and Greek.
Topics we can speak to with data on the record:
- International medical tourism economics (pricing, volume, patient flow)
- "Turkey teeth" phenomenon and why it emerged
- EU Directive 2011/24 and patient rights across borders
- Hair-transplant technician model vs surgeon model
- Albania's positioning in European medical tourism
Topics we will not speak to: individual patient cases without that patient's written consent, hypotheticals about specific clinics outside our published investigations, and any diagnostic or treatment-specific medical advice.
Clinics — responding to a published investigation
If Clinic Truth has published an investigation mentioning your clinic and you believe we have a specific factual error, email info@clinictruth.com with subject line starting CLINIC RESPONSE:. Include:
- Exact investigation URL and the specific claim you dispute
- Evidence the claim is wrong — documents, screenshots, public records. Marketing copy is not evidence.
- A named, signing contact at the clinic with their role
If we verify the claim is wrong, we issue a correction on the Corrections log within seven days. If you disagree with our interpretation but cannot show we got a fact wrong, we will publish your response verbatim in the original article as a Clinic Response block.
We do not:
- Remove investigations in exchange for any consideration, monetary or otherwise.
- Respond to legal threats that do not include the specific factual correction being sought. Vague "cease and desist" demands without a named error are logged, forwarded to our counsel, and otherwise ignored.
- Accept advertising, sponsored content, partnership arrangements, "collaboration opportunities," affiliate commissions, or any other commercial relationship from clinics we may at any time review.
