Clinic Truth Editorial

Every Clinic Truth investigation is produced, fact-checked, and published by the editorial team. Members of the team have operational experience coordinating international patients to Tirana clinics, fluency in the relevant patient-source languages (English, Italian, Spanish, Albanian, Greek), and training in the methodology documented at /methodology.html.

Investigator

Runs the data collection: pulls Trustpilot samples, cross-references clinic websites, verifies clinician registrations, archives the evidence. Every investigator has operational knowledge of at least one Tirana clinic and is trained to apply our four VERIFIED criteria consistently. All investigators are independent of the clinics they review — none hold equity, employment, or referral relationships with any clinic reviewed.

Editor

Reviews every draft before publication. Verifies that every factual claim carries a source citation, every chart references its underlying data, and every verdict follows directly from the evidence presented. Signs off on the pre-publication notice sent to each named clinic. Signs off on corrections when they become necessary.

Coordinator

Runs the reader-facing side: WhatsApp inbox, email responses, pitch-screening, press enquiries. A member of the coordination team replies personally to every patient question during European working hours. Coordination work is governed by the same independence rules — coordinators do not receive variable commission on the clinics they recommend through AlbaniaClinic.com.

Translator / multilingual reviewer

Verifies that Trustpilot reviews translated from Turkish, Italian, Spanish, Greek, or Albanian retain their original meaning and tone. Translated reviews are flagged as translations in every investigation; when a specific quoted passage matters to a verdict, we publish both the original language and the translation side-by-side.

How the team organises a single investigation

  1. Queue — An investigator adds a clinic to the queue, drawn from patient enquiries, search-volume data, or regulatory/press signal.
  2. Data collection — The investigator pulls every Trustpilot review, samples 200–500 stratified by date, categorises, cross-references against the clinic's website, checks registration in the relevant national register, archives every source.
  3. Draft — The investigator writes the verdict draft following the Clinic Truth article structure: hook, what we did, the data, the pattern, the verdict, sources, disclosure.
  4. Pre-publication notice — The editor sends the draft's factual claims to the clinic with a 7-working-day response window.
  5. Review — The editor fact-checks every sentence. Anything unsourced is removed. Anything disputed by the clinic with evidence is corrected.
  6. Translator pass — If the investigation quotes reviews in non-English languages, the translator verifies accuracy.
  7. Publication — The final investigation is published, indexed, and pushed via IndexNow. The coordination team prepares to field reader questions.
  8. 90-day review — Every published investigation is scheduled for automatic re-review 90 days after publication. Material changes at the reviewed clinic trigger an update; otherwise the article is restamped with a fresh "last reviewed" date.

Independence — what we don't accept

How we are funded

Clinic Truth's operating costs are funded by our sister service AlbaniaClinic.com — a coordination service that connects international patients with verified Tirana clinics. When a Clinic Truth reader decides to coordinate treatment in Albania, AlbaniaClinic receives a fixed coordination fee from the clinic receiving the patient. That fee funds Clinic Truth's operations. No revenue comes from clinics we review, regardless of country.

This arrangement creates a structural bias: we benefit financially when readers prefer Albania to other destinations. To manage that bias, we apply the identical methodology to every clinic in every country and publish the scoring criteria at /methodology.html. Readers are invited to audit our work and challenge specific claims — the Corrections log at /corrections.html documents every factual correction made.

Contact

Every member of the team is reachable via info@clinictruth.com or WhatsApp at +355 68 409 9986. For specific routing (patient questions, tipster reports, press enquiries, clinic responses), see the contact page.

If you'd like to join the team

We do hire — slowly, and only for specific roles. Investigators with native-speaker capability in Turkish, German, or Greek are particularly useful. We do not accept applications from clinic employees or former clinic marketing staff. Write to info@clinictruth.com with subject line Editorial team application.
